The Kasoa Branch of DA Microfinance Limited on November 18, 2011 donated  items to the Countryside Orphange at Bawjiase in the Awutu Senya District in the Central Region. The event formed part of activities marking the second anniversary of the Branch.

Items donated include food items such as rice, sugar and milk. Other donated items were toiletteries including toothpaste, toilet soap and washing powder. An amount of GHC 1,000.00 was donated to the Orphanage in cash. The Branch Manager -  Mr. Nana Kwame Wiredu and the Corporate Affairs Manager - Ms. Ruby Kyeme who presented the items said the gesture was also to support the underpriveleged in society and help improve upon the livelihood of the future leaders of Ghana.

The Founder and Mother of the Orphanage - Mrs Emma Boafo Yeboah, was grateful to the Management and staff of DA Microfinance for the support and expressed optimism for a continued goodwill relationship between the two bodies. She said the home has established its own farmland for the cultivation of various crops to augment support from the public.

Countryside Orphange which currently has 140 children was established in 1998. The vision of the home is to create an environment in which needy children will be given equal opportunities to enable them develop their potential in full for the benefit of society.
